What types of doors do you offer (interior, fire-rated, bespoke, acoustic, Secure by Design)?

We offer a wide range of internal doors, including both fire-rated and non-fire-rated options, available in flush, glazed, and bespoke sizes. We also supply pre-hung door sets, as well as acoustic, Secure by Design, and fire-rated frames, along with all essential accessories to suit any project requirement.

How do I choose the right door for my home or business?

Choosing the right door depends on many factors such as design, functionality, safety, and budget. If you’re unsure where to start, our support team is here to help. Simply get in touch with us, and we’ll be happy to discuss your requirements and guide you towards the best options for your home or business.

Do your doors come pre-hung or door-only?

We offer both fire-rated doors and bespoke services, including the supply of pre-hung door sets—whether acoustic, secure-by-design, or fire-rated—providing options well beyond standard doors.

What materials are available?

We offer a variety of finishes to suit different styles and needs, including laminate, veneer, painted, texture or flush designs, as well as fire-rated cores for added safety. You can also choose glazing options such as vision panels or acoustic glass for extra functionality. If you’re looking for something specific, our team will be glad to guide you through the options and help you find the perfect match.

Are your doors certified to meet the required standards?

Our doors are manufactured to meet key certified standards, including Certifire, ISO, and FSC, helping ensure safety and quality. All fire doors come with the required certification to confirm they meet fire safety regulations, and we can provide any additional documents upon request. If you’re unsure which door is right for your project, our sales team is always available to offer guidance.

Sizing & Customization

Do you provide custom sizes if my opening isn’t standard?

Yes, we can provide custom-sized doors to fit non-standard openings. Our bespoke service allows you to order doors tailored to your exact measurements, including options with glazing, fire ratings, or acoustic features. Please fill out the form on the Bespoke page or contact us directly, and our team will guide you through the process to ensure the perfect fit.

Do you offer matching frames?

We offer matching frames to complement your chosen door, which you can select directly on our website. 

Ordering & Delivery

What is the average lead time for standard vs. custom doors?

  • Stock flush doors: 3–5 working days
  • Stock glazed doors: 7–10 working days
  • Bespoke flush doors: 4-5 weeks;
  • Bespoke glazed: 5-6 weeks

Do you deliver, and is delivery included in the price?

We deliver all doors through carefully selected carriers to ensure safe handling. Please note that delivery is not included in the product price—the exact cost will be shown at checkout. Deliveries are scheduled within a 20-minute time slot to allow for inspection, are kerbside only, and require assistance on site due to the weight of the doors (some can be up to 50 kg). If unloading takes longer than the allocated time, additional charges may apply.

  • The product must be in stock and available for immediate purchase on the competitor’s website.
  • It must be brand new and identical in every way (brand, style, size, specifications, guarantees, and warranties).
  • The competitor must be an authorised UK-based retailer.
  • Price matching excludes clearance, discontinued, sale, or promotional items.
  • Marketplace sellers (eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, etc.) are not eligible.
  • Delivery, installation, and other additional charges are not included. If a competitor’s low price is offset by high delivery fees, we may decline the request.
  • Cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
  • Q Doors reserves the right to refuse a price match if the request doesn’t meet our criteria, stock is unavailable, or the competitor has an exclusive arrangement with the manufacturer.

Do you offer a free delivery?

We are offer free delivery for order that equals or more £1,500 for stock items only.
However, free shipping may not be available for orders delivered to the following postcodes.:
DD, PH1-16, EC, SE1,11, SW1,3,5,7,10, W1-2, 8, 10-11, 14, WC, AB10-16,21-25,30 & 39.

Installation & Maintenance

Do you provide installation services?

We do not provide installation services. However, we recommend using a certified installer or trusted local tradesperson to ensure your door is fitted correctly and performs as intended.

Can doors be trimmed or adjusted after purchase?

Many doors can be trimmed in both width and height; however, each product has its own specific trimming recommendations. Please contact our sales team to obtain the Technical Data Sheets and fitting instructions. Once modifications such as trimming, milling, or hanging have begun, the product is considered accepted and non-returnable.

Return & Refund

What is your return or exchange policy if the door doesn’t fit or isn’t suitable?

For non-bespoke orders, you’re welcome to cancel within 14 days of delivery, and we’ll issue a refund within 30 days (delivery and return costs are not included). If you need to cancel more than 48 hours after placing your order, a 30% restocking fee will apply. Please note that fully bespoke items—such as laminate doors—are made to order and become non-refundable after 48 hours, as materials are specially purchased for your project

Do you provide any replacement and refunds?

Any manufacturing defects must be reported to us within 3 working days of delivery. To help us assess quickly, please send clear photographs by email. Replacements or Refunds will be provided if the issue is confirmed as a manufacturing fault. Once any alterations have been made to your doors — including hanging, milling for ironmongery, or resizing to fit an opening — the goods are deemed accepted and are non-returnable.
