What is the difference between oak veneer and oak-effect doors?
An oak veneer door has a layer of real oak with natural grain and variation. An oak-effect door uses a wood-look laminate that recreates the appearance of oak with a very consistent, hard-wearing finish. We offer both, so you can choose between natural character and maximum durability.

Are your oak internal doors fire-rated?
No, the doors in this collection are non-fire-rated. If you need fire protection, see our dedicated Oak Fire Doors range in FD30 and FD60.

Do the doors come finished or ready to finish?
It depends on the door. Some are supplied unfinished for you to oil, stain, or lacquer on site, some come prefinished, and the laminate oak effect doors arrive factory-finished and ready to hang.
